We Serve

Ø      Provide equipment for school playgrounds, softballs fields, basketball courts, and bleachers

Ø      Lions Pavilion at Sunset Park

Ø      Annual scholarship awards to one boy and girl to further their education

Ø      Sponsor a local visually handicapped person to Beacon Lodge Camp for the Blind every summer.

Ø      Provide eyeglasses to needy persons when recommended by an eye doctor

Ø      Loan a variety of sickroom equipment (crutches, hospital beds, wheelchairs, potty chairs, & serving tables) to the local population

Ø      Sponsor an annual Christmas party for local children

Ø      Sponsor a visually handicapped person so he or she can attend the Leader Dog School in Rochester, Michigan [dog and tuition are free of charge because of Lions Clubs’ contributions to the school]

Ø      Make contributions to the Leader Dog School, Beacon Hill Lodge Camp for the Blind, Pennsylvania Eye Research Foundation, Wills Eye Hospital, Pittsburgh  Eye Laser Center, Hershey Medical Low Vision Center, Central Pennsylvania and Northeast Eye Banks, District Projects, York County Lions Project Committee and others
